J. Morgan Tucker III, M.D.

All about Dr. Tucker

Dr. Tucker is a board-certified OBGYN who has been with OB-GYN Associates since 2020. He spent his early years outside of Memphis and moved to Southeast Alabama during high school. He completed his undergraduate degree at Auburn University and his medical degree at the University of South Alabama. His wife, whom he met in medical school, is a Huntsville native. Following medical school, they couple matched to residency programs in Lexington at the University of Kentucky.

After completing residency, they stayed to practice medicine in the Bluegrass. He joined a small, rural OBGYN group affiliated with the University of Kentucky and his wife practiced as a Hospitalist with the VA. As much as they loved Kentucky, they always missed Alabama. As their family grew, and their practices became busier they began to miss Alabama more and more. They were blessed with the opportunity to relocate to the Huntsville area. He then joined OB-GYN Associates and his wife began practicing with a local VA clinic.

Dr. Tucker has three children, two daughters and a son. He also has a large golden doodle named Jeffrey! When he and his wife are not working, they are trying to keep up with homework, after school activities, grocery shopping, and walking the dog. Dr. Tucker loves the outdoors (hiking /cycling), spending time with his family, and he especially loves cooking! He is currently exploring Mexican and Italian cuisine. Having grown up outside of Memphis, he considers it essential to be a good BBQ pit master! He may be biased, but he considers his ribs and brisket to be the best around!
