Dr. Acuff is a board-certified Ob-Gyn who has been an integral part of OBGYN Associates since 2015. With a deep commitment to women's health, she has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and expert care to her patients. Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Acuff treasures quality time with her husband and two sons, often embarking on family road trips that foster unforgettable memories. An enthusiast of true crime stories, she also enjoys gathering with loved ones for games and meaningful connections. From an early age, Dr. Acuff was drawn to medicine, having been inspired by her mother's work as a nurse. What began as a childhood curiosity soon evolved into a lifelong ambition to pursue a career in healthcare. By the age of three, she had already set her sights on becoming a physician—a path she has followed with unwavering dedication ever since.

Dr. Clem is a board-certified Ob-Gyn dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Since joining OBGYN Associates in 2019, she has focused on making every patient feel comfortable and supported during their appointments. A native of Athens, Alabama, Dr. Clem earned her Chemical Engineering degree from Auburn University before pursuing her lifelong passion for medicine at UAB School of Medicine. Her interest in women’s health flourished during her residency at the University of South Alabama, where she further honed her skills under esteemed mentors like Dr. Acuff. Married to her husband, Adam, a Civil Engineer and former active-duty Marine, they now reside in Huntsville with their two children, Lily and Phillip, and their beloved cat, Garfield.

Dr. McCloud is a board-certified Ob-Gyn who has been a valued member of OBGYN Associates since 2014. A graduate of Tuskegee University with a Bachelor of Science, she balanced academic excellence with leadership, serving as cheer captain for two years and becoming a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College and completed her residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Outside of her practice, Dr. McCloud enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, and quality time with family and friends. She and her husband, Vann McCloud, II, are dedicated sports fans, especially of football, and they share this passion with their three children: Trinity, Cassidy, and Vann III (Trace).

Dr. Purvis is a board-certified, second-generation gynecologist who has been delivering exceptional care at OBGYN Associates since 1997. A graduate of both the University of Mississippi’s undergraduate and medical programs, he completed his residency at the same institution, earning numerous academic awards in obstetrics and gynecology throughout his career. Beyond his practice, Dr. Purvis enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the Tennessee River and local hiking trails. A classically trained pianist, he is also deeply involved in civic and church organizations alongside his wife, Kate Noble, a Huntsville native. Together, they have two children and one beloved granddaughter, who affectionately calls him "Doc."

Dr. Tucker is a board-certified Ob-Gyn who has been with OBGYN Associates since 2020. Originally from outside Memphis, he moved to Southeast Alabama during high school and later earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his medical degree from the University of South Alabama. After meeting his wife in medical school, the couple matched to residency programs at the University of Kentucky, where Dr. Tucker practiced in a rural OB-GYN group and his wife worked as a Hospitalist with the VA. Though they enjoyed their time in Kentucky, their love for Alabama eventually brought them back to Huntsville, where Dr. Tucker joined OBGYN Associates and his wife continued her work with the VA. Together, they are raising three children and a golden doodle named Jeffrey. Outside of work, Dr. Tucker enjoys hiking, cycling, spending time with family, and exploring Mexican and Italian cuisine. A BBQ enthusiast, he takes pride in mastering ribs and brisket, drawing inspiration from his Memphis roots.

We are so excited to announce that we have a new doctor joining the practice. Dr. Erin Baldwin spent her early years in Mississippi, before moving to the Huntsville area in middle school. She aspired to be a doctor from a young age, and after shadowing an OB/GYN her senior year, she knew this was the path for her! She is honored to further the field of women’s health by empowering her patients through comprehensive and compassionate care. She graduated from Whitesburg Academy, where she met (and later married) her high school sweetheart, Jordan. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi with her Bachelor’s in Chemistry, and earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Baldwin then completed her OB/GYN residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Baldwin and her husband have a daughter and two Labrador retrievers. In their free time, her family enjoys walks on the greenway, time with grandparents and cousins, and traveling. She is thrilled to be back home in North Alabama to begin her practice! Dr. Julie Sawyer, D.O., is an obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for women at every stage of life. A graduate of Auburn University and the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Auburn, she completed her residency in OB/GYN at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Sawyer’s clinical passions include adolescent gynecology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and infertility care. She is committed to building long-term, supportive relationships with her patients, offering personalized guidance through preventive care, pregnancy, and reproductive health decisions. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Bethel Renfrow is a doctoral-prepared, board-certified Registered Nurse Practitioner who has been a dedicated member of OBGYN Associates since 2018. With a passion for women’s health, Bethel empowers her patients to take control of their well-being and make informed decisions. She began her healthcare journey with a strong foundation at the University of Hawaii, later earning her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Frontier Nursing University and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Originally from a small town in southeast Missouri, Bethel has called Madison home since 2015. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new culinary adventures, hosting dinner parties, and spending time outdoors, whether paddle boarding or relaxing at the beach. Bethel has two grown children and is the proud dog mom of two doodles, Hazel and Mabel.

Kayla is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner who joined OBGYN Associates in 2023. Originally from Jackson, Tennessee, Kayla earned her degree from Harding University in 2017 and spent six years working as a nurse, gaining valuable experience in the CV step-down unit, Labor & Delivery, and the OB Emergency Department. She went on to complete her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2022. Kayla is passionate about guiding her patients through their journeys to becoming families, offering education on contraception, preventive care, and other health needs. She finds it a true honor to be part of such a pivotal time in her patients' lives. In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband, Samuel, their daughter, Finley, and their dog, Olive.

Alysha is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) who has been with OBGYN Associates since 2023 and holds the distinction of being the first CNM at Madison Hospital. Passionate about supporting patients on their journey to grow their families, Alysha has practiced across several locations, including Athens, AL, Fayetteville, TN, and Lawrenceburg, TN. Alysha resides in Elkmont, AL, with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading murder mysteries, and attending Pink and Luke Bryan concerts.

Eileen is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who joined OBGYN Associates in 2024 after four years practicing in Atlanta. Thrilled to return home to Alabama, Eileen has lived in the state for over 40 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and her master’s in Midwifery from The Midwifery Institute of Philadelphia University. Residing in northern Cullman County with her husband, Jimmy, and two of their seven adult children, Eileen is also a proud grandmother of eight. In her free time, she enjoys reading, attending estate sales, and serving on the media team at her church. Despite commuting between Atlanta and Alabama for several years, Eileen’s heart has always remained in Alabama, where she is honored to serve the families of North Alabama during some of their most significant life moments.

Kendall is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. She has been serving patients in the Memphis, TN area for the past 3 years and is excited to be returning to Alabama. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University. She then worked for 5 years on a Hospitalist step-down unit at UAB Hospital before receiving her Masters degree in Women's Health from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Kendall is passionate about women's health and she is committed to providing comprehensive care that empowers women to achieve optimal health outcomes. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Derek, and their three children. Kendall is accepting new patients. Hannah supports women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care with a focus on physiologic birth and maternal mental health. Drawn to women’s healthcare from an early age, Hannah has long been inspired by the strength and complexity of the female body and the remarkable experience of bringing new life into the world. Her journey into midwifery was shaped by years of caring for women and babies and a growing desire to take on a more meaningful role in supporting patients through some of life’s most transformative moments. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys reading, cooking, making sourdough, and cheering on the Seattle Kraken.
