Mark T. Purvis, M.D.

All about Dr. Purvis

Dr. Purvis is a board-certified second-generation gynecologist who excels in providing the highest standard of care to his patients. He has been with OB-GYN Associates since 1997. He obtained his undergraduate degree and his medical degree from the University of Mississippi. He also completed his residency at the University of Mississippi. He has been the recipient of several academic awards relating to the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology.

In his free time, Dr. Purvis enjoys the beauty and fun of the Tennessee River and loves hiking local trails! He is an accomplished pianist with a classical music concentration. He and his wife, Kate Noble, are very active in many civic and church organizations. She is a native of Huntsville and they have two children and one perfect granddaughter (his grandpa name is Doc!).
