Rachel E. Acuff, M.D.

All about Dr. Acuff

Dr. Acuff is a board-certified OBGYN who has been with OB-GYN Associates since 2015. She grew up in Huntsville until she moved to Fayetteville, Tennessee where she graduated from Lincoln County High School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga with a biology major. Her medical degree was obtained from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. She stayed in Memphis for residency and completed her training in 2010.

Outside of the office, Dr. Acuff cherishes spending time with her husband and two sons. They enjoy embarking on road trips together and creating memories as a family! She loves anything true crime as well as playing party games with her family and friends. Believe it or not, her childhood dream was to become a pig farmer and live in a cotton trailer. (Spoiler alert! This is not a place to live!) After visiting her nurse mother a few times at work and realizing that the hospital had soft-serve ice cream, she changed her career path to becoming a doctor. She’s had the drive to become a medical doctor since age three. Her reasons changed over time, but she hasn’t thought of doing anything else!
